Scam Alert
We have been informed of fraudulent activities targeting event participants through fake hotel booking offers and unauthorized visa application services. Please be advised that the 17th Asian Congress of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ACOMS) does NOT authorize any third-party agencies to provide such paid services.
Please pay attention to the following before making hotel booking and applying visa to Hong Kong:
Hotel Booking
- Book accommodations through the official channels listed at https://acoms2026.org/accommodation.html or with hotels directly
- Scammers may contact you directly via email or phone, offering discounted rates or requesting advance payments.
- Do not share personal or payment information with unverified sources.
Visa Application
- Visa applications must be submitted through the official Hong Kong Immigration Department

(Online Application Form: https://www.gov.hk/en/nonresidents/visarequire/visasentrypermits/applyvisit_transit.htm) - Beware of individuals or websites claiming to expedite visa processing for extra fees.
